The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the airport and offers a complimentary shuttle service. The absolute highlight of this hotel is the restaurant lounge, featuring a huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the runway. The view is truly beautiful and makes the space particularly impressive. The food was also surprisingly good. I enjoyed the fish dish and ordered it twice during my stay. I didn’t use the gym, but I had a look at it and it seemed to be well equipped. The main downside is that the guest rooms don’t live up to the standard of the hotel’s common areas. They feel quite dated and would definitely benefit from a renovation. My room overlooked the runway, which made looking out of the window a real pleasure. However, the room itself was old, and the air conditioning was particularly frustrating. It couldn’t be switched off completely and made a constant noise throughout the night, which was very disturbing when trying to sleep. Overall, the hotel is a good option for a one- or two-night stay, especially if you need to be close to the airport. However, the outdated rooms and noisy air conditioning could become quite unbearable for a longer stay.
